He crouches down, inching closer. Mydei doesn’t budge, only tenses like a tightly coiled spring. “My name is Phainon. You’re Mydeimos, right?” Mydei doesn’t respond, lips pressed tightly shut. Phainon’s smile wavers, chest squeezing tight. “No one’s going to hurt you here,” he murmurs, extending his arm out. Mydei growls. Fear flashes through his eyes for a fleeting second, but it’s enough to have Phainon freeze in place, breath catching in his throat. (A mishap at the Abyss of Fate leaves Mydei a child whose only memories are of the Sea of Souls.)

I'm indeed a multishipper. I wrote a lot for genshin (Childe and ZL, Alhaitham and Kaveh, Clorinde and Navia, etc.) before writing HSR. I adore Acheswan and Kafhime. A good fic or good art could convince me of any ship

"You look untouchable when you're on the stage," he says, the words resigned and sad. "Like a force of nature." (It takes Mydei and Phainon eight plane rides to make their way home.)

That he can’t imagine being without Mydei because for as far back as he can remember, Mydei has always been there. There is no era in his life when he was without him. But, no fan would know that. No fan could understand how much Mydei means to him. He can’t say all that while he’s parading as a fandom shipping account. So maybe it wasn’t the smartest idea to post a photo he’d taken specifically for him and Mydei and not the world, meaning it doesn’t exist anywhere except his phone, meaning there are only two people in the world who could’ve had access to the photo.
