This is true 😐. Lost count of the times we could have won a game and been in the top 3-4. But we don’t. Anyway, let’s see.

Great point. Vicarious living - dissatisfaction with other aspects of life, hoping for / expecting Mufc to bring them joy maybe. Or, sadly, fanbase baiting - negativity gets more engagement.

Again, I’m saying this accepting that success takes time. Arteta has taken 7yrs to bring Arsenal to this level. Mufc have given no manager even half that time. Can’t hide behind “we’re not like other teams”. Every team is a team, at EOD. 🤷🏽‍♂️. Consistent growth is a reasonable emotional expectation.

Fair. Most fans approach it with emotion, not logic. But that cuts both ways; being emotionally invested means wanting to be hopeful/satisfied as consistently as possible. City and Brentford games were acceptable; early in the season. Everton & 1st half vs Palace, not so much, i think.

Still wonder what the thinking was when buying him. Just what.

It’s so sad to agree. In the past, they’d not only be absolutely up for it, the energy would be crackling. Now it’s like comparing lightning to LED.

Of course his life changed for the better after leaving MU. 😐 Happy for them all (him, RH, MR, A) but it’s a pattern we just can’t ignore.
