BREAKING: LAPD didn’t just “detain” someone. They surrounded him, beat him, and jumped him — like a gang. On camera. On horses. While he screamed for help. Unarmed. Cornered. Alone.

If that’s not state violence, what the fuck is?

@malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social is officially keeping his seats as vice chair of the DNC thanks to David Hogg, dropping out. Kenyatta spent the last few days in MS. As @kenmartin.bsky.social says, “we have to organize everywhere so we can win anywhere” The south isn’t an afterthought with the DNC.

Think the South doesn’t matter? That’s your first mistake.

Democrats can’t afford to ignore it—and we won’t. Just spent the last few days in Mississippi, where the future is being written in real time.

Run with me. You might just learn what you’ve been missing. 🏃🏽‍♂️

Two of the three states with the largest population of people in the U.S. illegally are the red states of Texas and Florida. Trump, notably, does not name their cities when calling on ICE to execute more aggressive immigration raids. He does, however, name LA, Chicago and New York.

You’ll notice that the American state media are no longer concerned about age seeing as the orange felon is now nearly 80 years old and all they’ve been doing is normalizing his birthday dictator march. They have completely failed all of us as well as our democracy.

Trump: We have our trade deals. All we have to do is send a letter and tell them how much they have to pay.

this is obviously something to take seriously but i am also struck by how the white house’s only move is to double down, no matter how unpopular or politically disastrous it might be
Trump declares war on cities

“We must expand efforts to detain & deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as LA, Chicago, & NY, where Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, & other Cities, are core of the Dem Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base”

The problem with everyone carrying guns is that anyone gets to claim they saw imminent danger and fire at anyone else pulling a gun.

Anyone seeing the yellow-vest guy raise his gun and point it at a crowd could have shot the yellow-vest guy (and they'd have saved an innocent bystander's life btw).
I wouldn't be surprised if this is part of the reasoning behind the charges. The guards may well have acted inappropriately but I think they were acting under the assumption, correct or not that this guy posed imminent danger + they had a reason for being armed that the cops understood - being guard
