Had a lovely space decorated with a moderate amount of nerdy figs in cases and yuri kissing posters. Turns out a few months into being there, the owners needed to sell. So we had guided tours of our apartment for several weeks... and of course the sale listing photoshoot...

You're fine. Australia is just acknowledging that there's alternate ways of describing the
way of the land we live in, guided by what Aboriginal people have experienced for centuries. Our climate really does have different flows to a classic 4 season view and it's silly we try to insist otherwise

but that's what it feels like here. acknowledging the first nations' seasonal calendar makes way more sense than insisting it's spring only to walk outside to the heights of summer temperatures or expecting a full winter when it's only actually cold for about a month
