How far we have traveled

Our reserves used to play in the Central League

Now they play in the Champions League

Exactly

That’s what made me think

Generations of my family spent their life in a 30 mile radius of our house

Only those who fought in the wars went abroad

My mum was 50 before she went to London and 60 before she flew

I’ve got out and about a little 😊

But we are who we are aren’t we 👍

Thought about your story a lot

My family lived in the same street since it was built in the 1880s until my mum died in 2020.

She was born in the house next door where my gran and grandad lived

My gran the youngest of 15

I haven’t lived there for 47 years

But that, indelibly, is where I’m from

An absent MP? A Russian traitor in Reform? When I go to Clacton, nobody seems to care
On the trail of the elusive Nigel Farage, John Sweeney visits his impoverished constituency – where even the prospect of Putin undermining British politics doesn’t raise many eyebrows

You can do a lot of GB in 8 hours

Glad you found the run

I’ve run 4 marathons

100 miles is something else

Small world

Or big world really

👍😊

Somewhere in Illinois 😊

I know the scale of things over there is different to over here

I think Illinois itself is about 3/4 the size of Great Britain

Last time I was in NY the folks hadn’t heard of Manchester 🤷‍♂️

👍😊

I’ve worked in Barca a number of times on corporate events

Once having to devise a treasure hunt for a client

So I know my way around Barca better than I know my way around Birmingham

Send my best to the 4 Cats

👍😊
