Arif and I are house-hunting (!!) and have been looking at Philly since homes are cheaper, nicer, and larger overall. Went last Saturday to hang with friends, explore neighborhoods, get a better idea of some areas of interest, etc - but now I just want to live in the chocolate factory...

My mental was in the dumps for almost five months, but it's pretty crazy how much of a turnaround I felt after visiting my friends in LA last month. It's probably a combination of missing them and changing my environment. I like being a homebody, but lately it was more like being homestuck.

Today's the last day we'll have Sydney - she's big enough to get her eye surgery and spay now, so I'm dropping her off at the shelter tomorrow to get those done. She's already got an adopter, so she'll be going to her new home right after!
