Yes there would be demand pressure from all the new individual buyers who could get cheap loans this way, but nowhere near the current demand from landlords grabbing up literally anything at any price that we have now

Yeah the other side of that equation is zero-interest no-down loans for owner-occupier buyers, funded by the tax, which would make it easier for individuals and families to get financed than for landlords (who currently have the advantage of using equity in other rentals to fund purchases)

Make landlording no longer a free money factory and the trend of buying up everything goes away, helping both primary residence buyers *and* renters; leveraged buying becomes unsustainable, destroying the current business model and increasing supply by reducing runaway demand

If a landlord has to pay $500 per bedroom per month for every vacant for every vacant unit they're much less likely to buy up more properties, less likely to raise rents unsubstainably, less likely to evict over petty shit, etc.
And not everyone wants or needs to own, like students or temp workers

If they really wanted to make home ownership affordable they'd do low/no interest government loans for owner-occupied housing.

As far as I can tell the system is literally just vacuum pumping for Proper Ladies, which *would* temporarily do the trick until the swelling goes down; if the cream does anything at all to help prevent or repair skin damage from that, it's probably better than pumping by itself

Biggest issue is if the rims are compatible; if the hub hole or lug pattern are the wrong size you'd need to have the gifted tires remounted on your original rims

The size difference means the snow tires are wider (195mm vs 185mm) but slightly shorter (55mm vs 60mm) so you'll get better traction but slightly worse fuel efficiency, and your speedometer will read a little lower than your true speed
