Middle-aged queer in the Deep South.

Have always had to fight for my rights.

Using this platform to process what's happening in our society. My opinions and observances are my own.

If I don't know you, I'll probably block you to keep out the trolls.
We can teach about inherent privilege without shaming/guilting. But, we avoid teaching it.

So, inevitably social dynamics get figured out amongst peers.

Similarly-resourced folks stay in closed group, and on discovering that others are different, they unfairly view them as criminal, lazy or crazy

Remember: We have to fight the good fight on multiple fronts.

Stay safe. Stay alert. Stay hydrated.

So support the local businesses who support immigrants and DEI values, while you shun the ones who don't. (If you can't tell which they are, then look up their owners info in the FEC donation registry, or scan their social media.)

Bad or "partially true" intelligence, isn't good intelligence and could lead to creating more fear and confusion.

As far as boycotting: while big corps affect national and state levels, it's the local, smaller businesses have more influence at local levels.

Posting online doesn't equate to action. It's a placebo and won't influence real change.

Don't get into flame wars with trolls online or in real life - they want to exhaust and overwhelm you.

And only post what you personally know is verified - if you don't know the source, then don't share it.

They're definitely causing this trans' panic.

And I promise I didn't use my crazy DEI powers to inflate their costs.

Eggs seem perniciously omnipresent in my life.

But after reading about the price of them lately, for the first time I'm actively happy about my allergy.

I've jealously watched as folks eat flan, creme brulee, omelettes, deviled, heck even those weird-looking brinded eggs at gas stations.

I can't get the regular flu shot as it's cultured or whatever in them.

Or a dog who insist on going out every single time you walk back in the door, even if you just took her out two minutes before.

Does have a kind of a gneat and gnarly look to it, as scars go.

Speedy recovery to you too!

Don't know, but will definitely look for one.

I'm still recovering from back surgery I had in July. Pain is gone, but so is my stamina.

Try to be patient with yourself, and if you figure out how to do so, please tell me.
