Every year, the Innocence Network gives out several awards to honor individuals who support and champion efforts that help free the wrongfully convicted, reform the criminal legal system, and/or highlight the costs and causes of wrongful conviction.

Collectively, the clients of #InnocenceNetwork organizations spent over 14,770 years wrongfully incarcerated. This #WrongfulConvictionDay, we shed light on the injustices of the past and resolve to fight for a more just future.

Together, the 70+ organizations that make up the #InnocenceNetwork have secured 865 + exonerations to date. And we’re nowhere near finished. This #WrongfulConvictionDay, we recommit to freeing the innocent, preventing wrongful conviction, & supporting people when they come home.
