I was driving home from work and saw a meteor breaking up as it moved across the sky. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. It was so big and bright I was worried it was a plane crash until I got home and checked the news.
It was in a lot of pieces. Does that mean I get to make a lot of wishes?

There's no profit in fiber arts, not when you can get a machine made at Target for 30 bucks. So know fiber artists making for you? Is an act of love.

The reason the headline is "doom!" is because when you see what's already been done, you see that we can do more,
which means things can get better,
which means rich people's "it's over, no stopping this, might as well let us do what we want" manipulation might stop working. Can't have that.
