Hey, please don't send them to Threads - we don't want them over there either. Send them back to that hellhole place that rhymes with bitter (you'll never get me to call it by a single letter).

Oh, I keep getting texts from the Safeway pharmacy saying I'm overdue for my shot. I think the pharmacy tech was misinformed. So I'm going to try making an appointment again. I had Covid for the first time in November (thank god for Paxlovid) even though I had a booster in September.

My pharmacy already told me over a month ago that I couldn't have a 6-month Covid booster when I showed up for the appointment I made because, and I quote, "The CDC says you don't need one 'cause it's not different than the one you got last fall." Uh, yeah, but I'm over 65, therefore high-risk.

Wearing sunglasses indoors, uh-huh. I mean, sure, he could be wearing them because he has a migraine, which can cause photophobia, but I'm more inclined to believe he's wearing them to conceal the drugged-out pupils.

Man, I'm surprised my infants lived to see adulthood. The baby walker I used with them was probably a deathtrap, but seeing anything about recalls back then (the 1980s) was just not as easy.

Watch it. And you haven't lived unless you were in the hospital high on pain meds after the C-section with baby #5, watching Twin Peaks in May 1990.

Home, relaxing, and enjoying the quiet after the noise from all the fireworks going off in my neighborhood. People with money to burn, literally.

I made them for Christmas dinner, but I am lazy and used frozen shredded hash browns. I top mine with buttered, toasted panko.

Same here. Well, it was my mother-in-law, since mine wasn't LDS. First child was born about 5 months after getting married. While baby was a preemie, she wasn't 5 months preemie (more like 6 weeks).
