He was never found to be guilty of criminal rape, because of the then current rape law. But he was found civilly liable. Meaning he raped her, there just was no criminal charges. Why are you trying to justify rape right now?

No, it is not implying that. The rates of sepsis, infertility, and death caused by pregnancy HAVE risen since abortion protections were stripped from half the women in the US. If you think that those statistics are gross. Then you need to take a look in the mirror and reassess your priorities.
