Yesterday was Ana Mendieta’s birthday. Thinking of this indomitable soul and all her art was trying to show us. For an early grad piece she spilled blood on the street, as evidence of a murder, & she took film & stills of how people reacted. One man eventually mopped it up. No one called the police.

My toxic trait is I constantly want to learn new rollerskating tricks and still have not properly learned how to stop. My stopping strategy involves finding the closest bush/tree/post/wall to crash into 🙃
