Mamdani is further left than most politicians in power here in Norway at the moment, by what I'd say is a significant margin. People only think we're ultra progressive because we're being compared to the US, but that's not exactly a high bar to clear.

I grew up on a farm with a 'stabbur'. It didnt have chicken tree legs though unfortunately.

I remember the early days of AI, from like 5-8 years ago now. And those hardly produced any "useable" results, and even they had so much stolen data in them. I remember the concerns from back then of how much more (stolen) data they would need to "improve". How easy that was forgotten.
