Journalism isn’t just about changing minds - it’s also about providing insight, context, and transparency, even when dealing with difficult figures. Cliche? Sure. But since we don’t yet know anything about their conversation we shouldn't get too caught up in things.

I think we're mostly on the same page but I don't believe changing his mind needs to be the goal - it's unrealistic. Challenging his ideas would be a start. We also don’t know the substance of their conversation yet. I was just (maybe naively) surprised at how extreme the reactions were..
