Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced a pilot scheme giving shoppers one hour’s grace after their paid on-street parking session ends for Parking Zones in Newry and Lisburn this holiday season.

A full range of Department for Transport EV ChargePoint grants are available in NI towards the costs of installing electric vehicle charge points and infrastructure.

Please note the closing date for all grants has been extended to 31 March 2026.
