A Canadian who (unfortunately) resides in Alberta.

Sorry.
Maybe on their lunch order when they say "yes, I would like fries with that".

This is why the 1 trillion payout was a nothingburger. The board knows his ego and the announcement alone was enough to keep him engaged, when everyone knew there was no chance in hell of him making the targets.

A court assigned arbitrator would be a swell remedy.

And maybe some chips and dip. Just because...

And when they initially found dead birds in their pen they hid the evidence and didn't report it as required.

Everyone provides what they can and in exchange they get what they need.

I'll say it again - there are no handouts.

Everything in the budget is what the people voted for in the election.

And you moved the goalposts several times in this exchange.
November 9, 2025 at 10:29 PM
Another day, another CorruptCare distraction. What's the count at now?

Every comment you move the goalposts. Jobs are up. Economy is up. The budget is seeding manufacturing and construction jobs. Military funds are seeding jobs. What more are you looking for? There are no handouts.
November 9, 2025 at 3:49 AM
The building and infrastructure initiatives seed jobs in construction and manufacturing. The military spending is divided between new hires and Canada based military manufacturing (as much as possible). This is all working class money.

Time to start crowdfunding for a private grassroots auditor general and public inquiry system.

Alberta is all about privatizations, right?

There it is in a nutshell.

Deciding to work for your constituents is a betrayal to the CPC.

Recent poll showed 19% of Canadians actually would prefer an authoritarian government.

I believe that's just about right with where his support level is right now.

Every anti-vaxxer with a peanut allergy today...

shit.
November 3, 2025 at 6:13 PM
The Cons/Poilievre scream for the updates because they're constantly looking for gotcha moments and things they can spin.
November 3, 2025 at 6:11 PM
My reply was more of a joke/commentary on the fact that 75 million Canadian isn't that much money.

I should start footnoting my jokes. In fairness, they sound funnier in my head anyway.
November 3, 2025 at 12:06 AM
Yeah, but it was $75 million Canadian.

😜

"may accept a gift of...a close personal friend"

Is this the point in history where the UCP starts referring to contractors as "friend of ours"?

Cue the cheezy mafia movie cast.

Since MLB is just an entertainment industry, there don't be any rule change on this until it affects the bottom line.

Don't forget that first time it was used - against gay marriage.
October 28, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Yeah it doesn't look good for him. Add to his neck the current albatross of Danielle Smith.
October 28, 2025 at 5:58 PM
I support all Canadians rights to everything the Constitution and charter outline.

We sometimes forget that every media decision is based on money and not philosophy or ideology. The people's anger and fear is money in the bank to them. I just want them held accountable to telling the truth.
