Here's a 10k word post with bits of my story weaved into a talk about a Japanese film.

Mine's a lot more boring. Med school rejected my application, so my undergrad supervisor scooped me up and made me a grad student. I didn't decide on mobile development until around this point a decade ago: #Tamayura inspired me to pick up iOS development based on what I thought I was good at.

I relate: some of my more outstanding deeds come about because of loneliness and the resulting restlessness that creates.

It was an experience to get this: waking up at midnight, hurtling down a dark highway where livestock roam, and navigating a dark pathway, but all in all, absolutely worth the effort!

Your flower photos are outstanding. What sorts of lenses do you use to capture them?

...for sunrises and Milky Way shots. People grow over time, and the photos I take today in no way suggest I "missed out" because I didn't start a decade earlier.

The internet's young people also keep selling this nonsense about doing stuff when you're young or you permanently miss out. I'm the living counterexample of that: the me of 10 years earlier, a grad student, had a snowball's hope in hell of affording a full-frame camera and going to the mountains...
