Maybe we should have power over those things? They are important institutions whose decisions affect us all. Maybe a job for a Citizens Assembly or similar? Just think that the idea of a sovereign nation with a sovereign govt is a bit laughable when you contract out such important functions.

Not the current bunch, no, but the politicians (in theory) serve us and we can remove them. What power do we have over an independent Bank of England or the OBR? There seems to be a democratic deficit here.

We're not uncritical of Corbyn but he seems, this past 10 years, to have helped (with others) unleash a significant amount of left-wing energy in the UK and, for that, we're grateful. Glad he won't be leader of Your Party. Hope they can make the collective leadership thing work. It will be hard.
