Life is fucking weird. I was so burnt out from restaurant work. Was in school full time pressing to get my degree done in two years (which I successfully did) and after two months of complete unemployment I’m right back to where I started -waiting tables with no design work or creative opportunity.

A lot of my art is weirdly inspired from my dreams. This specific one was such a clear visual upon my waking from slumber. Marker, ink, colored pencil, glitter, acrylic paint on paper. Did this around 2011 or 2012- I wasn’t putting dates on stuff 😅😣

I’m always trying to find ways to make trash into treasure, to upcycle, make new. I used to discard my painter’s tape after projects but I started using it to cover notebooks back in 2021. These are a few unedited pics of my journal that I covered in used painter’s tape from some projects.🥰💝I🫶🏼
