In all my years, I've never seen the word "respectfully" said in the same breathe as "shut the f*ck up". But these are indeed interesting times where civility among some politicians seems to have gone the way of the buggy whip. Violence can be verbal as well as physical.

Thanks for all that information regarding SS-related law. Great to know that this govt social contract is so protected. Interesting in my mind how GOP has repeatedly mentioned the need to "cut entitlements" as if "entitlements" were some bone they were throwing us.

Keep that stub in a safe place in case you ever need to use it as your evidence against possible future GOP claims, IMO.

Even the term "entitlements" so often used by GOP implies a pejorative, that the feds are doing us such a favor. Social Security is indeed not a "benefit". It's really a kind of insurance, like govt unemployment comp and life insurance. Our SS payments are held IN TRUST as Treasury Bonds for US!

I checked my dictionary. A "professional" is someone whose work requires extra training and skill. And who works based on a standard level of performance and ethics. Nurses fit that perfectly, along with "hero". Trump has something up his sleeve. Check with ACLU on your rights to challenge.

They may remove the plaque, but it won't change every vet's sense of honor. It's part of our training. Kelly not preaching mutiny and fellow officers must get that. Kely knows the protocol. Even if he court-marshaled, which I doubt will happen, the worst he'll get is a slap on the wrist, my guess.

As with Epstein files, Trump has not acted like an innocent man. With the question of unlawful orders, seems to me that without the Nuremberg precedent re unlawful orders, Trump with complete immunity could order military overthrow of Constitution without fear of pushback from DOD, Just saying.
