Joplin, Missouri group of Indivisibles remaking our democracy, action by action.

Brought together by a practical guide to resist the Trump Agenda, Indivisible is a movement of thousands of group leaders and more than a million members for democracy
Why the Location Change? The traffic at 7th/Main will likely be much slower on a Sunday. While 7th/Rangeline has been a popular spot in the past, our first No Kings event created issues for the businesses there. To take advantage of the Rangeline traffic, we will protest in front of the mall.

We will be releasing a reschedule date as soon as possible.
We know that this is disappointing. Our team has been as excited as you are, so we are feeling it too. We hope you will be able to stand with us on our rescheduled date.

In solidarity,
The Indivisible Joplin Team

Indivisible Joplin has said from the start that the safety of our attendees is our number one priority, so we feel that it is irresponsible to hold our event outside in these conditions.

We are excited to stand with you.

Together we’ll send a joyful, powerful message: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.

See you at 2!

Safety Team:
If you see any issues or potential conflicts, please alert a Safety Team member. We will have team members on all four corners of the intersection. If you have difficulties locating a team member, someone at the tents will be able to contact one for you.

Please also know the Joplin Police Department has requested we leave a clear path on the sidewalk for others to pass. The sidewalk there has plenty of room, so it should be easy to be respectful of passersby.
October 18, 2025 at 6:56 AM
Where to Stand:
We expect a large turnout, so we anticipate needing all four corners of the intersection. We recommend standing on the sidewalk directly connected to the intersection so that our Safety Team can reach you quickly if needed. See the following map for the recommended standing area.

When you Get There:
We will have two tents set up: 1 by Arvest and 1 diagonally across the intersection near Sherwin-Williams. Come pick up a stack of Know Your Rights Cards, a No Kings bandana (limited supply), and a sign if needed. We will have KYR with I.C.E. Agents cards (red cards) available.

Where to Park:
We value our local businesses and expect attendees to be respectful of them. There is a small parking lot right at the intersection that belongs to Creative Audio; please do not park there. See the following map for nearby public parking lots in the area.

The No Kings Coalition is encouraging attendees to wear something yellow to establish it as the color of our movement. We have a limited amount of No Kings yellow bandanas available on a first-come basis. Other ideas are a yellow shirt, a yellow poncho, a yellow headband, or a yellow bracelet.

There is a different protest at 7th & Rangeline at 11. It is a No Kings protest, but not an Indivisible Joplin protest. It is being hosted by a different local group.

Attendees are welcome to attend whichever protest best fits their needs, or both if they would like.
