In case it isn’t clear, ERs were overwhelmed because that’s where people went for all levels of care when they couldn’t afford medical office appointments. The law known as EMTALA required ERs to provide some level of stabilization or treatment. (Still does.) The pressure was immense.

Oy. I don't think Mark Millar or Frank Miller should be *anyone's* introduction to superheroes. And I'd put fewer Horror-themed comics in the 'pop culture' section. Put in some Simpsons, or Star Wars, or Avatar.

Clients, who have made me toil for weeks over indescribably small details, are now approving & producing in-house commercial artwork that looks like a fever dream.

I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.
