(2) Dr David Wilkin from Open University gave evidence in today's Police & Crime Committee about how disableist abuse led him to attempt suicide. Susan Hall AM @Councillorsuzie says toughening up might help a "substantial amount of people".

Find ways to actively support Palestinians in our sector and movement, like setting up a peer support group for Disabled Palestinians.

Create space and resources for action for DDPOs and Disabled activists wanting to build intersectional solidarity in response to the genocide.

We will:

Work with other Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) to raise awareness of Gaza as a key disability justice issue.

Work with other DDPOs to call on the government, including the Minister for Disabled people, to act on the demands detailed in our statement.
