Well, it was fun while it lasted... yesterday at work a coworker proudly proclaimed that, now that tRump has taken ownership of the Gulf of America, he can send in the Coast Guard to stop drug traffickers and drill oil all the way to Mexico....

I took some "mental health time" from social media. I'm not usually one who needs that kind of thing, but the events surrounding the election and the certainty of the suffering to come was just too much. I won't say I feel better because for the next 4 yrs there is no better

Let's just be honest, the Democratic party platform fell flat. I am 100% pro-LGBTQ and trans rights, have no doubt of that, however, most people in the US had larger priorities. High prices and interest rates put a real burden on many who are barely getting by.
