Confession: my daughter learned how to count at 1 year old cause i taught her how to count dice. I would throw them and call the numbers out and she memorized what they looked like 🤣 now my girl counts in her head at 2. And i just know iss cause she remember the dice patterns 😭

I knew i had made it as a Caribbean woman when my mom (the best cook in all the land) stepped into the kitchen to cook some beans and she asked me “what did you put in there last time?” 🥲 i was 22 years old. I’ll never forget 🤣
