In an era of sparse art direction, the concept of a "Mindstab Thrull" saw three very different visions in Fallen Empires. This came in handy in Fifth Edition, when Tedin's "body horror tangle of arms" was deemed too much for the Chinese market, and Hudson's "weird little dude with a bomb" filled in.

Chromium was printed with Rampage: {2} instead of Rampage: 2. If playing R&D's Secret Lair, should this be read as "you have to pay {2} for every extra blocker" or "add {2} to your mana pool for every extra blocker?"

The art for Kill Switch has a Phyrexian symbol on the handle. Do we think this turns off all the Phyrexians? Could've saved the multiverse a lot of trouble.

This card's use of "for each opponent" was far ahead of its time. One of very few old cards that so clearly pushes you to think about how it would scale with more players.
