I’m far too lazy to fill this out right now. Let’s wait until the Alprazolam kicks in, k?

That image will do until I put something else up.

No DMs, please. Cool? Thanks!

Today’s addition: I’m a fan of quiet competence.
KJ is having some trouble missing the dude with the really fat hockey stick. 😎

Monahan, on the other hand, looks completely caught in his own head. He’s getting caught thinking with the puck on his stick in scoring positions instead of flying off instinct. No cure for that except to score a goal.

I don’t think it’s a Constitutional issue; it’s a requirement of the laws that govern military service, from what I remember.

Any American veterans on here who are able to correct me if I’m wrong, please step in and do so. I don’t want to be contributing to misinformation in any way whatsoever.

Oh absolutely. I don’t think that Evander is a good fit for EP40’s play style at all.
November 26, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Can’t be on the Supreme Court if you’re an active duty service member.

TO BE CLEAR: I’m joking about playing that game vs. Alito or anyone else.

But I don’t trust the current administration to not light their own hand on fire rather than turn on a flashlight.

A lot of “woke” policies are just like that—local community-based inexpensive solutions to local needs. In many cases, the only role for the federal government is funding local initiatives as needed.
November 24, 2025 at 8:21 PM
To the contrary—it’s typically less costly to be kind than to be an arse. Just as an example: accessible, affordable housing for the unhoused is less expensive than anything that the Right has done to “solve homelessness”.

He’s always been a streaky volume scorer. Over his career, he’s shot at 9.9%. I’m more concerned with him having 139 shot attempts, and the goalie having to save 45% of them. That’s into the “one-and-done” category. EP40 is a possession player, not so much a rush player. Not compatible, I think.

Damn, my friend!

Hugs and best regards to your best friend and their family. And regards and strength to you as you support your friend in their pain and loss.

PS: That Higgs dude sounds like an arse.

I love the word “bigot”. It’s such an honest word. You can’t say it without your face making micro expressions of sneering and disgust. Lovely word!
November 24, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Come now, be kind, friend. No need for vulgarity.

Just refer to him as “that nice Out fellow who spends his days with Mr. Poilievre”.

See how kind and, I don’t know, happy that sounds? We should be polite and respectful and let them be happy together. Proudly happy.

On behalf of all troll-haired individuals, I am offended!!!

PS: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Better outhouse than in House, if you ask me.

From your fingertips to God’s… cellphone?

🤷‍♂️

I have no idea what the appropriate interwebs version of the old saying might be.

Anyway, be well, my friend. Nice chatting with you!

And now we’ve roped the Supremes into it; I wonder how Roberts would rule.

Side note: I don’t know why I am surprised by this fact, but I am. Justice Alito is the only former service member on the US Supreme Court. I would have put money on there being at least two former service members.

Huh.
November 24, 2025 at 7:37 PM
I agree that it would be a bad move. I’m not convinced that the current administration considers blowback in any of their decisions. They are panic-prone ignoramuses trying to weaponize every lever of power to remain in power. There are no adults in the room now.

There are several different ways to stop burning coal, oil, and gas. What has been missing to date is the will to stop burning them. We need to fix that.
November 24, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Like I said, I’m not certain if they are smart/stupid enough to try and pull off something like that. But, to me, it’s by far the more serious concern than a court martial. Any trial over his comments would be a laugh.
November 24, 2025 at 7:10 PM
His comments were basically a paraphrase of the military legal code. He’d clear any court martial easily. That’s not the point.

If he is recalled to active duty to stand in a court martial, they might try to force his resignation from the Senate, because he would then be an active service member.
November 24, 2025 at 7:06 PM
I think some people might have confused “ceasefire” and “pause to reload”. English can be a tricky language, but still…
November 24, 2025 at 6:59 PM
“…which may include recall to active duty…” directly in the tweet or whatever it is called now.

I don’t think they’re that smart/stupid to try and do something, but that statement opens up the door for shenanigans.

The concern is that an active service member cannot be an elected representative of the people.

To quote Capt. Engling, 663d Air Base Wing Staff Judge Advocate, “Members on active duty MAY NOT:

· Be a candidate for, or hold civil office, with very limited exceptions.”
November 24, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Good. A full acquittal of Sen. Kelly in front of a full court martial might (hopefully, against all hope) shut Sec. Hegseth the hell up (respectfully speaking).

My only concern with this charade is that they might try use the recall to active duty as a way to remove him from his Senate seat.

So, given those facts, I don’t see how you can so blithely say that the book is fictional. 3/3
