I was feeling in a space age-y mood, so I wanted Atsuko sitting in an Eero Aarnio ball chair, listening to music on her Welltron GEC 2007 record player, and include a JVC Videosphere to complete the round space age aesthetics trio.

they're just out of Frame but the Sony trinitron CRT TV and the corded phone are absolutely in her room. Cassette future all the way :)

I fell in love with the aesthetics of the Nakagin Capsule Tower, which were sadly demolished in 2022. I wanted to honor them with this drawing of Atsuko in her own capsule apartment on the moon. In this futuristic reality CRT TVs and reel to reel tape decks are still in use.

I fell in love with the aesthetics of the Nakagin Capsule Tower, which were sadly demolished in 2022. I wanted to honor them with this drawing of Atsuko in her own capsule apartment on the moon. In this futuristic reality CRT TVs and reel to reel tape decks are still in use.
