Charity shop haul today is £1 for 3 DVDs. Zulu, The Untouchables and Pulp Fiction. The Untouchables (one of my all time favourite films) comes with a double sided poster too. Don't get one of those on streaming

Today's film I watched so you don't have to is The 13th Warrior. A vague retelling of Beowulf meaning a dozen Norse fighters and the titular hero, an Arab, go to a village and fight off hordes of cannibals who think they are bears. Nothing great but if you are in to this type of film it's fun

Just noticed that Sean Connery died 5 years ago to the day. Think I shall watch my three favourite films of his this weekend - and not a Bond film in sight

It's entirely pointless people spending money running a website if the article is hidden behind endless ads and pop ups. This is today's effort from Love Rugby League. Absolutely embarrassing effort

Two fictional "stars" who would be baffled if they were on The Celebrity Traitors - director Marty DiBergi and actor Ward Fowler

I've watched The Empire Strikes Back hundreds of times and it never occurred to me before that Yoda has a set of step ladders somewhere that are compatible with a X Wing. What is Yoda doing with those? It's not window cleaning

Today's film I watched so you don't have to is The Stuff from 1985. A satire on consumerism involving deadly alien ice cream substitute. Watchable and fun but sadly not funny enough to be a genuine comedy or scary enough to be a horror. Includes a couple of actors before they got famous.

I'm fed up with apps having logos with letters not matching their names making them almost nearly impossible to find. Gmail's logo is a fancy M and Linkedin's logo being the word "in". Don't start me on AA's app being called The AA and My Aviva's logo just saying Aviva

Today's film I watched so you don't have to - Airport 75. The passengers are from Airplane but without the gags. Includes kid needing a transplant and a signing nun. Takes an hour for the actual "disaster" to take place. Heavy on men including, Charlton Heston, knowing better than women.

Today's film I've watched so you don't have to was Raise The Titanic. Boring flat and at times baffling first hour. 30 minutes of looking for the ship. 10 minutes of basically filling it with air so it floats and then Russians. Or something.
