Why are they trying to goad & provoke self-styled apolitical (dare I say usually apathetic) locals who would otherwise ignore threats to other neighborhoods & suburbs? Usually the side of racial profiling & violating rights based on demographic benefits from the apathy of those not targeted.

A more interesting question is why the agents are theatrically targeting some of the wealthiest and whitest neighborhoods and suburbs, while they continue to stage photo ops in working class majority-Hispanic neighborhoods. They are obviously galvanizing all but the MAGA minority against them. Why.

These stops are not "at odds with the mission." The mission is to meet Miller's arrest quotas, to show that the administration can and will exact revenge on regions that do not comply in advance, and to create chaos to be used to justify stripping rights. blockclubchicago.org/2025/10/24/f...
