For a Sunday that was a fairly messy outing, but it started in very civilised fashion at Terra Mare on High Street.

The annual dinner of the Association of London Welsh Lawyers all Taffywooded up last night. Thanks to Vanessa for asking us to do this again.

Our Twitter follower count is over 70,000. Sure, many of those accounts are long dormant, but they were all real people. So I went in there, like, and declared loudly in a rather affected baritone, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players." Silence. Someone shuffled some papers and a woman coughed and that was it. Disappointing – but maybe it's too good a quote to beat late on a Thursday.
