Individual accountability will have a place to signal that the rule of law matters after all. Far more important will be rebuilding & legislating transparency and accountability into our institutions. They were obviously less resilient than we thought. What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks for surfacing these. Bush admin set the stage for much of this: press restrictions, executive branch overreach (Google Unitary Executive), self-dealing (see Cheney & Halliburton), war crimes, etc. if there had been accountability for all that Trump wouldn’t have had as free reign.
