Museum of Science & Industry employees formed their union with @afscme31.bsky.social more than two years ago, but @msichicago.bsky.social is still refusing to offer fair wages.

MSI union members say enough is enough. They’re voting this week on whether to authorize a strike.

A penguin trainer slipped at work and broke her back. She became a leader in forming Shedd Workers United and calling for workplace safety. Then Shedd management fired her. That's retaliation and it's against the law.

Chicago History Museum employees are making history of their own: They’re forming a union with AFSCME Council 31 @afscme31.bsky.social.

Together in their union, employees will seek better communication with management, improved job security, livable wages, a voice on the job and other priorities.
