A Christian committed a horrific act of home-grown terrorism by blowing up the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, and yet Oklahoma City has elected several Christian mayors since then. How the hell can that happen?

(How to say you're a religious bigot without saying you're a religious bigot.)

After spending decades dealing with talentless Marketing Department schlubs who thought they knew better than all the artists and designers they despised, I think Adobe has found the demographic that _wants_ AI. Since they can't tell median slop from real creativity, they won't notice how bad it is.

Despite the best efforts of US Customs and FedEx, The Lion Man of Stadel joins my collection of oddities today. It seems like Herman Ubis is reassuring him. "Don't worry, bud! We're all chill here!"

How many people got jumped from behind that pillar before something was done? Hostile architecture to the rescue! No more lurking here, you bad guys.

King's Landing vibes? Yeah, Mdina _is_ a fantasy city. Also, really great knockers, which are available for a price!

Went out to the Blue Grotto, but the boats weren't going because of the high seas. (Lilly-livered, grass-combing lubbers!)
The sea here is a deep sapphire blue, and the pictures don't do it justice.

It's Notte Bianka in Malta! I just finished watching a neo-flamenco group perform to "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (on a saxophone) in a 16th C building restored in the 18th C style. Multi-temporal multi-culturalism! Other stuff is happening, too!

Ol’ Anubis sure got around! Here’s him an’ his old pal Horus, from a Phoenician tomb at Għajn Klieb, Malta! It seems the Sea People had a lot of anthropomorphic deities as shown on a golden band from a 7th century BCE tomb at Għajn Barka.
