Whilst this complicit, complacent government & ‘regulator’ do nothing but side with the sinner against the sinned against. What a complete sellout Starmer & his government are.

Another betrayal of voters, ‘working people’, the struggling, the non corporates & pretty much the 99% by our LINO government.

Since #Brexit, UK now has lower standards in politics and politicians (apologies to the exceptions to this seemingly ever apparent rule).

Of course if they challenged & capped the charges extorted by/profiteering by utilities companies esp Gas & Water, rail & air operators & reversed employers NI hike life would become generally a lot more affordable for SME businesses & normal people, we might get some economic activity across the UK

If there’s a good, sensible, public spirited, cost-effective & kind way. And there’s its opposite, what way do you think they’ll choose 🤔?

Now we need the same response to oil, gas & plastics industries to save our planet from the ever worsening climate catastrophe & plastic pervasiveness.

If only European & UK leaders would rally to the planet & all of us affected by climate devastation in the way that they rally against Putin.

It’s a complex mix e.g. big business/ private equity interests, toothless, inadequate or complicit regulators, escalating property, rent, fuel, utility, food & produce bills, rates & employers NI, infrastructure issues. Poor government. End result: affordability crisis for pubs & punters alike.
