Ukraine is Europe!
We stand by Ukraine.

We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor.

Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.

Will any EU leaders finally grow a spine, stand up and support president Zelenskyy? Or will they stay on the trajectory of appeasement of a narcissistic sociopath and a pathological liar like #Trump? The future of the continent sort of depends on it. No biggie.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

We have entered into a new era of harsh geostrategic competition. More and more, continent-sized powers engage with each otherbased mostly on interests.

And Europe must deal with it.

Our values do not change. But to defend them, some things must change. 🧵 ↓

The bishop at President Trump’s inaugural prayer service implored him to “have mercy” on gay, lesbian and transgender children, as well as undocumented immigrants.

“I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,” asked Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde.
