The banning of books is out of control and an abhorrent practice in Florida and elsewhere. But to avoid any confusion or misinformation, The Diary of Anne Frank was NOT banned. A graphic novel adaptation called Anne Frank's Diary is the work that was banned, supposedly due to depiction of nudity.

I have been sorely lacking in sandwich content lately. The reason is that sandwiches have wronged me. A tiny flax seed made of apparent granite pulverized one of my teeth last week, and now multigrain bread is my sworn enemy. I’m sure we’ll reconcile soon, but for now I’m sticking to mostly pudding.

Saturday, May 3rd is a National Day of celebration regarding no fewer than fourteen different subjects. I’m highlighting National Homebrew Day, but you can celebrate however you like. Playing outside and chasing monarch butterflies is a good way to stay fit! Or eat chocolate custard. Go nuts!
