Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Even if these words were wiped from the vernacular (insomuch as they are ever used), guess what? Then they’ll have another list of words to avoid. And the process will repeat until no one actually stands for anything because that is what Third Way is really about (well that, and money).
It would be a huge step forward for Democrats and for general clarity in political writing if these terms went away. These came mostly from academic hothouses.
