Yesterday, Nevada’s 40-year-old forced parental involvement law (previously held as unconstitutional) went into effect for the first time.

Now, abortion providers must notify a parent/legal guardian at least 24 hours before anyone under 18 can get an abortion.

Courts fail us. They did it 3 years ago with Dobbs, and last Wednesday in U.S. v. Skrmetti.

And that same day, Judge Kacsmaryk struck down a 2024 HIPAA rule meant to shield our repro and gender-affirming care records from being handed over to police.
