🌱 Partial garden haul 2025. The tomatoes are ripening quickly now and the cukes are ridiculously vigorous. Peppers are growing well too. All this despite the heat and drought. Looks like I’ll be making some more pickles and relish soon!

Welcome to marigold lane 😂 I didn’t plant a single marigold in the greenhouse this year, these are all volunteers from last years plants. The tomatoes are happy though. 🌱

Same- we had to build this fence to keep the deer out! Next we need to figure out a way to keep the rodents out 😫 it’s a never ending assault on the veggies.

🍽️ Made an Italian Wedding soup for supper tonight. Used orzo for the pasta, kale instead of spinach and instead of meatballs I cut up some sausages that were leftover from the other night. Just a whatever’s on hand recipe tonight. It was quite tasty 😋 #soup

🌱 I grew this lemon tree from seed 5 or 6 years ago and it’s about 4ft tall now. It’s finally starting to have multiple buds. Poor thing struggles indoors over winter but it won’t be too long before I can put it outside again. #lemon #containertree #indoortree
