Forget the iPhone 17 teardown—this one’s gourd-geous. We cracked open a retro classic: the orange pumpkin.

Inside we found modular design, biodegradable materials, and simple repairability. After a quick cleaning and a few precision cuts, we had ourselves a working iFixit Jack-o-Lantern.

Yesterday, we joined Google in New York for their International Repair Day event. It was an honor to sit alongside other repair advocates and talk about why designing tech to last matters more than ever. Big thanks to Google for inviting us and helping keep the repair conversation front and center.
