By the way, I dont trust the table published by Motorhead.
I had one prepared with the officially available CPCA Monthly NEV Retail Briefs and it looks quite different, particularly for the time after
September 2024, for which official numbers are not even available.
So from where are they?

Writing this after our previous conversation you must be really very stupid and I don’t want to have to read anything from you again.

P.s: In this context I also remember a popular saying:

Have a look at the red curve and you see the fluctuations, particularly in March, and around Chinese New Year, when people hardly buy any cars, compared to other times.

If you bothered to inform yourself properly you would see that sales numbers have already started to recover.

And in relation to declining sales in 2025 it would be because it can be explained by the introduction of the new Model Y and complete revamping of the production for that model, i.e. there were no cars that could be sold.

Again, you either don’t read properly what is written or you don’t understand it.
I didn’t say that “losing both market share and raw number of cars sold dropping isn't a bad thing.”
I said that I think it doesn’t bother Elon Musk as it wouldn’t bother me.

I know what is shown in the graph above.
You did not read carefully what I said: I have not said that Elon Musk would not be bothered “by declining car sales” but by a declining market share, which he himself forecast.

I would agree with you, but only for all the legacy ICE car producers in the US and Europe that have not quickly enough been able to develop and produce competitive EVs.

You could not give evidence for these statements.
What BYD models do you see “far ahead in both design and tech”?
How do you know that “Tesla has been parked and have no new volume models in the pipeline “?
Besides, the may not even have to and will be fine with their current strategy:

Correct, and to explain the reduction of marketshare of Tesla in China, I am sending you back what you said: “That is because there is like 30 other car companies in China”.
That was to be expected and I am sure that Elon Musk is not at all bothered about it.
I wouldn’t be.

Remember that China’s CO2 emissions are the result of its development, industrial and otherwise, as happened in all the now developed and industrialised nations of the West, only for over a billion people.
Therefore China has to make much bigger efforts to reduce this amount of emissions.
