Director Ida Lupino reunites with director Allan Dwan in July 1953, on the set of her film “The Bigamist”.

Dwan had launched Lupino’s film acting career by casting her in the lead in “Her First Affaire” in England in 1932 when she was 14.

Dorothy Arzner and Ida Lupino, the only two women directors in Hollywood during most of its “golden age,” photographed at an event celebrating Arzner’s career in January 1975.

This was a find! I had never seen them pictured together before.
