This is tangential but I do think winds of misfortune is crashing under linux, which is weird since all of TBP ran just fine. Crashes right on mission launch. Your latest mission runs just fine though.

Whenever this gets posted i always remember the follow up a different dev did where 80% of actual bug reports that aren't solely linux issues, with full crash logs and memory dumps, everything needed to actually track down the issue, was from linux users

The only two flaws i see with it is that rumble doesnt work with the native linux version and the color banding is kinda whack, but HDR mods fix it

It does have the issue that some MV have where the game doesnt feel like it opens up for a while until you get the wall jump ability/major traversal tool. After that though...
As for area variety, it doesnt sound like you made it that far. Tons of diff areas that vary up the color palette

I hate this whole discourse. It does genuinely make large open world games look better when you're not in direct sunlight, like witcher 3. But you *do not* need it in any game where the sun doesnt move.

There's no reason to not Bake that scene. RT Global Illumination is specifically good for large open world games where baked bounce lighting for every possible TOD when things are not directly lit is unreasonable. It always bothered me...

FSR4 i think is closed source unlike earlier versions, and people hacked it into working (but it performs worse at the moment) but if AMD releases the libraries or helps then it'll be viable.
