Digging into more old stock photo CD-ROMs on the Internet Archive, and this Japanese disc from 1997 has some extremely vibey water-based photography on it.
Sunlight sparkling on the surface of a dazzlingly blue body of water. A freeze frame of coloured lights reflected in a water droplet. Water on a glass surface lit by hazy blue and purple light. A waterfall cascading over a wall of lush greenery.

Went to Mexico and our taxi driver was playing this tune that I immediately fell in love with. Only realized later that it's a cover of an incredibly popular Post Malone track that I'd never heard of. Anyways this version is superior.
