I want to deeply thank @mskellymhayes.bsky.social & Mariame Kaba for this book. I’ve read it slowly; ingesting a chapter, sink it in, enact it over a month, read the next.

It’s helped me w local organizing (we vote our own lil fascist out next week!) and is prepping me to restart a larger campaign.

My daughter cleaned the bathroom today and left this.

I'm proud to say after 2 mos' hard training, I completed a half-marathon yesterday, 13.1 miles (21 km). I could barely finish 3 mi / 5 k without stopping just 8 weeks ago.

It was SLOW (I came #9 of 10 in my category), but my goal was just to finish without stopping to walk. I'll celebrate the win.

This is a fascinating (terrifying) thread. I knew about the ideological weirdness of Silicon Valley titans but had never seen it all laid out so fully.

Thing is, they don’t want an actual AGI “digital god.” They want the Wizard of Oz version, with *them* pulling strings behind the green curtain.
