I was saying this elsewhere, but after watching replays I'm really concerned about Bich's left ankle specifically. He broke it a few years ago and had a steel plate in it all last season. He just had that removed over the summer. My poor giant child.

What did I say?
I never feel more confident in the Dallas Stars than I do when they're down 2-0.

I've really enjoyed Nate Bastian when I've gotten to see him this season. He's such a hard worker. I love that for him.

I'm sure Jamie is thrilled to have hit 400 so he won't have to talk about it anymore after this week.

This week on Ice is Slippery, we talk about what in the Mikko Rantanen is going on in Dallas and why it's bad for the narrative. We also reflect on bromance facilitator Danny Briere and other NHL things we can be thankful for. Listen to The Villain Edit now!

We have a very large and cantankerous squirrel in our yard. I have decided to name him Chubbs in honor of our returning captain.

This week on Ice is Slippery, we check in on several Dallas Stars who are flourishing in their new homes and we feel totally fine and normal about it! We also begin to wonder if Kate is patient zero for the Dallas Stars curse.

When your favorite two teams are playing you can't lose, but you also can't win.

The northern lights paid me a visit during the Stars game and I feel like they brought some celestial luck.

Stars win! If you want more of this team, check out the latest episode of Ice is Slippery. This week, Fred's still pretty sure William Nylander's YouTube channel is a scam, and we posit that Clayton Keller has more in common with Dua Lipa than you might think.

He'll always have a special place in my heart, in the chamber where I collect and treasure chaos gremlins.
LOUD ovation from the AAC crowd for Mason Marchment following his tribute video during the first media timeout of the game (which took place with 6:17 left in the first period).

Fan favorite to say the least!

Wearing my "I am Mason Marchment's Attorney and He is Innocent" shirt for old time's sake. Calling it now that he will score a goal, because former Stars almost always score against us.
