Road trip picture from yesterday.
Daybreak through the clouds, beams of light streaking above and below; sunlight reflected off a river as we crossed a bridge headed north on I-95 from south coastal Georgia to Savannah. Not a bad picture since we were going almost 80 mph and passing a truck at the time.

The butterfly is out of focus, but I'm fortunate I could get this picture at all the specimen was so fluttery. The way the sunlight highlights the upper wings but not the lower made this picture a distinct, lucky shot keeper.

No idea what this flower/plant is, but I'm facinated.

A gaggle of geese flew over us as we were parking the car. I had to jump out of the vehicle and hurry to get these pictures. Wild Wednesday, indeed.
Wild geese landed on the road, used the road for a bit, and finally crossed the road. Even though they could have, they did not honk at other traffic. No drivers honked at the gesse, either.
