It was brought to our attention a thread had been made about a situation that I had really wanted to remain private for my own mental health. Jen has constantly brought it up, and I had to say something.
@everyone Important (content warnings for sexual harassment and mentions of self harm) Re Jen: As many of you may have noticed Jen (jenwow/puppinmusic) was removed from the space in early July. Jen sexually harassed me in DMs, and admitted to knowing it would break my boundaries but wanted to do it anyway. Following Jen using Del's mutual aid to try and apologise (we refunded) and increasingly uncomfortable interactions, Jen was blocked, banned and removed from this space and a few others pup brought into the situation. I would also like to note, using someone's call for help surviving as an opportunity to apologise to their partner is beyond disgusting and so exploitative. Recently we found out Jen still had access to the space and was getting updates. It had not told people what pup had done, but after a conversation with people involved, her access was cut off and we also learnt she had been knowingly manipulating people with implied threats of self harm. Following the person blocking Jen, it made a Bluesky thread referring to the Sexual Harassment as a 'joke' and trying to gain sympathy for its actions. I never ever wanted to have to talk about this publicly, but Jen is taking my options away and belittling the harm it caused.

The Title/Box 1: Free Ways to Support Palestine Box 2: Boycotts BDS have given us a list of companies that benefit, profit or are complicit in this genocide. Boycotts include not buying from these companies, stopping supporting their works/projects and pressuring them to stop their investment. Support and help other people follow these boycotts to make the movement stronger. Box 3: Protests Going to protests, making sure to follow (and share) protest safety information and making it accessible for all is a great option for direct action. Remember to wear a mask, stay anonymous and not risk anyone's safety by posting photos/videos. You can also protest from home by writing to your officials, as well as participating in weekly and global strikes! Box 4: Engagement Engage with content both from and about Palestine! If you don't have the money to support crowdfunding campaigns, what you can do is repost and help it reach someone who can! Continuing to engage with these accounts also helps fight against unfair profile deletion. So many platforms suppress Palestinian accounts, so continued engagement is vital. Box 5: Education Educating yourself and others about what is currently happening and the long history of colonial oppression that Palestine is facing is extremely important. Not only does it help reduce misinformation, but it also means that this history cannot be erased, ignored or forgotten. Refusing to allow oppressors to hide their actions is an act of resistance. Box 6: Remember to do your daily click (a free and super quick way to help raise funds) and focus on what you CAN do, not the parts you can't. None of us can do everything perfectly, but the more of us who do our best, the closer we get to a Free Palestine.

We were seeing vague posts, people blocking us and then proof of it being talked about by people. Not only did Soju not apologies for the tone she took with Mags, the 'I'm sorry that is how Mags read it' is a very common form of gas lighting.
Soju saying Im sorry that is how Mags read what I was sayingh as it wasnt my intent, and I had people dm me durign that to tell me they thought Mags was being weird at me and "tone policing me" which is how it felt to me. /gen /info

A small update from my discord server about how the space will be engaging with the weekly Thursday strikes for Palestine.

In short, we will be dedicating co-working time every Thursday we stream to uplifting Palestinian voices, sharing resources and being as loud as we can with out support.
An announcement from Queero's discord server that reads: @everyone Important Update of the Strike and how the space will be participating It's been called for, for the strike to continue every Thursday without a call for people to not to work. The idea is to not spend money, not use public transport and be as loud as we can (whether it be online or in person protests). This would continue until Palestine is Free, meaning companies can't just wait it out for it to be over. A constant disruption, that on top of boycotts and advocating will hopefully help push active efforts to ending this genocide. Bisan who called today's global strike has reposted this on Instagram, and many have taken that as a support. A constant dedication of showing our support at the very least will show Palestinians that we have their backs. Their lives are being destroyed and with another increase in brutality beginning, its as important as ever to be as loud as we can. Because of this, each Thursday I'll spend at least 1 full pomo boosting Palestinian voices and I ask you to do the same. Sharing resources, Palestinians accounts and anything helpful will be massively appreciated so we can share and uplift voices further.
